The Power of a Dream

Dreams are the spark that lights our path—they give purpose, fuel resilience, and transform “what if” into “what is.” When I was 10, I dreamed of becoming a writer, though my family couldn’t afford books. I borrowed from libraries, wrote in notebooks, and ignored those who said “it’s too hard.” Today, I write because that dream taught me to believe in something bigger than my circumstances. Dreams aren’t just wishes; they’re blueprints for action. They push us beyond limits, inspire creativity, and unite people around a common vision. Think of astronauts who dreamed of the moon, activists who dreamed of equality, artists who dreamed of changing perceptions. Dreams require courage—to pursue them despite doubts, to adapt when they evolve, and to trust that even small steps forward matter. As Martin Luther King Jr. said, “I have a dream…”—and his dream changed the world. Let us dare to dream boldly, for dreams are the first step toward creating a life that exceeds our wildest expectations.
